Liability insurance pays to repair or replace the other driver's car and pays other people's medical expenses when you’re at fault in an accident. The current minimum liability limits are $30,000 for bodily injured, up to a total of $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage per accident. This basic coverage is called 30/60/25 coverage.
Bodily Injury coverage provides protection if you injure someone and/ or if an injury in an accident results in death while operating a vehicle. It is important to carry Bodily Injury Coverage in your policy so you can prevent any lawsuit for the injuries that occurred during an accident.
Property Damage Liability provides protection if your car damages someone else’s property. This includes any property damage done to a vehicle, house, business, etc. Property Damage Liability also pays for any legal defense costs if you are sued as a result of these damages.
Carrying Bodily Injury Liability and Property Damage Liability make up the state minimum required coverage for all Texas drivers.

Comprehensive insurance will protect your vehicle is it is damaged by something other than a collision (Automobile Crash). Comprehensive will cover incidents such as: fire, theft, vandalism, and a collision with an animal or other covered perils.
Collision insurance is a coverage that will repair damages to your vehicle when your cat hits, or is hit by another object. In order to repair your vehicle you will pay a deductible. At Payless Auto Insurance we offer a variety of deductibles that you can choose from. You can have the option to choose for a low deductible, or you can opt in for a higher deductible in order to reduce your premium.
Deductible is the term used to describe the amount of out- of- pocket expenses you are responsible for to cover the repairs to your vehicle. The most common deductible amount includes $250, $500, or $1,000. Keep in mind the lower the deductible is on your policy, the higher the premium. The higher the deductible is, the lower your premium.
A lienholder is commonly added to the policy when you are financing a vehicle through a dealership or a bank. In most cases, you will be notified by the lender if you are required to add a lienholder. This is a service that is free of cost, so if you don’t add the lienholder when initiating the policy you can always do it after.
UMBI coverage will pay for you and your passenger(s) injuries, such as a medical expenses, in an accident caused by an uninsured driver.
UMPD coverage will pay for any damage done to your vehicle in an accident caused by an uninsured driver, and/or a hit-and-run driver.
In the state of Texas, you can carry Personal Injury Protection or Medical Payment Coverage to cover the cost of any bodily injuries for you or your passenger (s) regardless of who is at fault.
Medical payment coverage can cover $500-$5000 per person for medical, hospital, and funeral expenses for you and any passengers injured in an accident, regardless of who is at fault.
PIP coverage begins at $2500 and Medical Coverage begins at $5000.00. Personal Injury Insurance will pay for the medical, hospital, funeral, and/ or lost wages incurred by you and any passengers injured in an accident in your car regardless of who is at fault for the accident.
Rental Reimbursement will guarantee a reimbursement for the expense of a rental car if your vehicle is disabled from an accident or is in the repair shop. Having Rental Reimbursement does not provide coverage if the rental car is being used for leisure purposes.
At Payless Auto Insurance we work with several companies that offer towing and roadside assistance coverage to your policy at a low cost. Roadside assistance provides coverage within the United States if you run out of gas, lock your keys inside your car, get a flat tire, or even need a battery boost. Towing coverage will provide a towing for your car to the nearest facility when your car can’t be driven due to a loss.
The multi-car discount is applied to the policy that has two or more vehicles on the policy. The more vehicles you add to the policy, the cheaper the price is per vehicle.
You can obtain a discount for having prior insurance of 6 or more months with another carries, without any lapse greater than 30 days. In order to qualify for the discount, the named insured on the policy must be listed on the previous carrier declaration page/ID card.
Homeowners discount is given if you are a homeowner. In order to receive the home owner’s discount, the home must be registered under the named insured name or spouse name, which must be on the policy.
If you are legally or common law marriage you can receive a discount because you are considered a more responsible driver. Your spouse can be either included or excluded from your policy to get a discount.
By paying your policy premium in full you can receive a discount on the overall price of your 6 month/ 12 month policy.
Many companies offer a discount if you are willing to make payments through your bank account, credit card, or debit card via electronic withdrawals every month.
